Mantra and Practice for Digestion
Rinpoche recommended the following mantra and practice for people with problems with sickness and indigestion.
I prostrate to the Three Rare Sublime Ones.
CHOM DÄN DÄ DE ZHIN SHEG PA DRA CHOM PA YANG DAG PAR DZOG PÄI SANG GYÄ SEG SOL GYÄL PO CHHAG TSHÄL LO
I prostrate to the destroyer qualified gone beyond one, gone as it is, having destroyed the enemy, perfectly completed Buddha (awakened realized one) victorious one burning taking light.
TADYATHA HURE HUTE HUTA GARHANI SVAHA
Recite this on your hand and then massage your belly with your hand. This purifies sickness and indigestion.
This method was given by Buddha to benefit sentient beings, to pacify their sufferings, and to fulfill their wishes for happiness. This mantra is from the zungdu in the Kangyur—the translated, direct teachings of the Buddha.
