Headaches, Stress and Mental Agitation
A director of a center felt he was having many obstacles. He wrote to Rinpoche saying he had not been feeling well for a few days, with headaches and feeling a lot of stress and mental agitation. Another lama had confirmed he had many obstacles and he wrote asking Rinpoche what to do.
My dear one,
The following needs to be done:
1) La gu Tse Gu: Geshe-la can do this or the monks at Kopan can do it.
2) Lu bom Ta wo (100,000 naga puja): the monks at Kopan can do this.
3) Medicine Buddha puja: this needs to be performed three times. If you can do it yourself, with other students and Geshe-la, that is best. Then you must make strong prayers and dedicate strongly to Medicine Buddha everything that you are doing, especially these pujas, not for yourself but for all sentient beings, for His Holiness the Dalai Lama's and your gurus' long lives (and your own), for the long life of the Sangha and their success in all that they do, for the Dharma, the long life of the Buddha's teachings, particularly Lama Tsongkhapa's teachings, and for the Maitreya project.
Make a strong dedication in this way, for these purposes, as well as for your present obstacles to be removed.
After these pujas are done, see how you are afterwards and then let me know if there is an improvement.
4) Have the Kangyur recited: the monks at Kopan can do this.
