It is good to communicate directly to the person about your concerns, or what you need them to do.Without being angry, like a parent, it is OK to be firm or to ask repeatedly for the person to take care of his responsibilities.

The Padmasambhava prayer Sampa Lhundrupma needs to be done fifty times at Kopan.

To remove obstacles, mainly do Lion-face Dakini and Tara practices. These practices are most beneficial, then reciting the Heart Sutra. 

This is my advice for removing the obstacle. As a group, gather and make these prayers as much as you can. It is more powerful if they are done in a group, but if that’s not possible, then individuals can do them as they are able.
