My very dear Nina,Thank you very much for your kind letter.

Rinpoche gave the following advice to a student who had asked about practices and how to purify sexual misconduct.
My very dear June,
There are four remedy powers. The one that reduces and purifies negative karma is regret. The stronger the regret, the more the negative karma is purified.
When making prostrations by reciting the names of the Thirty-five Buddhas, even only one prostration to all the Buddhas, Dharma, and Sangha becomes a cause for achieving enlightenment.
My very dear one,Thank you very much for your kind message.
A Tibetan man living in the USA asked Rinpoche for advice about tsok lung (wind imbalance), which he had experienced for most of his life. The lung had led to depression and other problems, but had also brought faith in Dharma.
A student advised that during his stay in Nepal, his lung got worse and he couldn’t do any retreat at all. He felt there was an obstacle to his recovery.
A student had severe lung for many years. He had read Balanced Mind, Balanced Body, a book about lung by Amy Cayton. His lung had slowly improved in recent months and he could do a little practice every morning and evening. He did refuge, bodhicitta, the seven-line prayer to Guru Rinpoche and some shamatha without an object. The student wrote to Rinpoche asking for advice.
Dear one,I checked for a long time and this is my advice:1) It comes out very good for you to read Amy Cayton’s book on lung (the book, Balanced Mind, Balanced Body, is for sale at the FPMT Store).
