Exhausted by Chronic Fatigue

A student who was in retreat for one and a half years had become very ill with serious chronic fatigue. She left the retreat feeling exhausted, sick and finding it hard to do anything. Rinpoche sent her this advice.

Hearing Loss

Dear Jim, Thank you very much for your kind letter. I am terribly sorry that it has taken such a long time to answer, due to my always traveling, not being very long in any place, and doing this for a long time.

Problems with Nose

A student had problems with her nose that started nine years ago at the beginning of a long retreat. She acccepted that it was her karma and did purification practices. A doctor advised that the nose bone was twisted and he recommended surgery, but another doctor advised against it. The student wrote to Rinpoche asking for his advice.

Meniere’s Disease

Rinpoche sent the following note to a student suffering from Meniere’s Disease, which affects the inner ear.

Recovery from Glaucoma

Update on Student's Health: "First I would like to thank you and Rinpoche for checking on Susan's eye condition. After doing the mantra advised by Rinpoche, when she went for her last check-up, her condition had improved tremendously.

Wound Not Healing

My dear one,For your mother, the main thing is to make very strong confession to the guru, by doing the Samayavajra practice and reciting the mantra 1.4 million times. She must do each session with the four remedies, as we do with Vajrasattva.

Toxins in the Body

A student advised that after eight months of feeling well, he had relapsed due to the presence of many toxins—metals, viruses, bacteria and parasites—in his body. The student felt that there had been some improvement to his health, but there was still a lot left to do. Rinpoche gave the following advice.
