Severe Headaches and Stress

A student, who was the director of a Dharma center, was having obstacles, severe headaches, stress, heart palpitations, and becoming forgetful. Rinpoche’s advice was as follows. The student’s letter, one year later, is also reproduced below.

Mantras for Insomnia

Dear one,The mantra you need to recite is as follows:HAY HAY LI YO PAK TAI YAPlease recite half or one mala, or recite it 21 times, and then blow on your food. Also, you can hang the mantra around your neck or put it under your pillow.

Unable to Sleep

A student had a big problem with not being able to sleep. She had tried conventional medicine and natural healing, without success. She asked Rinpoche for advice.

Additional Practices for Multiple Sclerosis

A student had multiple sclerosis and other problems and found it very hard to be around people at all. She had written to Rinpoche previously for advice. Rinpoche sent the following additional advice to her.

Neurological Illness During Retreat

A student doing a one-year retreat had neurological pain and strange sensations in different parts of his body. He felt very weak and had to reduce the number of sessions and their duration for several days. Symptoms included buzzing in his ears, cramps in his hands and shaky fingers.

Bell’s Palsy

Rinpoche sent this letter to a student with Bell’s palsy, a form of facial paralysis.
