A student, who used to be a monk, wrote asking for advice with his practice. He also asked about his work, which was not going well.

A student requested Rinpoche’s advice regarding his future ordination, study and service at the Dharma center. He also asked Rinpoche what preliminaries he should do in addition to his lamrim studies.

A student wrote to Rinpoche requesting advice about his personal deity/yidam and how to proceed with his practice. He also offered prayers for Rinpoche’s long life and advised of a dream about a deity he believed was Lama Tsongkhapa. Rinpoche’s response is below.
